I am a teenager, its my duty to....

...post some outfit-posts. Sorry, I know, they most of the time are boring with clothes none likes, awkward poses and fake smiles... Well, there won't be anything of the last two atleast, 'cause there won't be people in the pictures. The clothes aren't really excactly like the ones I've worn(except for the boots and sandals, they're the excact same as I have), because most of my clothes are a few years old, so they're imposible to find on polyvore, but ive found similar ones. Or atleast clothes that give the same style and feeling.




My dress has a high waist, and a full skirt, except for that this is pretty much
what I wore on sunday. It looked kind of vintage-ish, and really cute if I may say so myself.



I didn't wear my blazer today, because I didnt realize before after school that it would look cool. I didnt wear my sandals either, it was too cold, but my hunters looked pretty much just as awesome.

 I guess both outfits are kind of grey and boring, but I like them, and both kept me warm in the rain.

I've given up pretending like I dont care...

I care, and I miss you so badly! Everytime I see you I feel like crying. Everytime I see her I just wanna run and hide. Everytime I see the two of you together I feel my heart breaking all over again.

I've tried to hide away what I feel but it just makes it all so much worse. Telling myself you're not worth it, my friends telling me I should just get over you, "I deserve something better", it doesnt help! Not at all. I just want you back. Our boring meaningless chats, and awkward calls. The funny moments, having our own jokes that no one else understood.

It's been so long, and still I cant stop thinking about you, about us.

I dont think you've ever quite gotten how much it all meant to me, I dont think I've gotten how much it meant. But I do now, 'cause I miss you so much!

Dress me up like: Don Draper!

Yep, now it's time to give the guys some styling, and who dresses better than Don? That's right, no one does!

Don's style is business like. Sharp and unpersonal. He has some different suits and shirts, and rather many different ties, but he usually sticks to one style. A medium grey, taylored, slim suit, a white shirt, and a dark, retro(well, it wouldn't have been in the 50's start of 60's, but now it is) tie. Oh yes, and of course some black shoes.

Towel day!

Yes, the day before yesterday it was towel day. If you don't know what it is, just google it, I wont even try to explain. Anyways, I love days that are something special, but not super special, like Towel day, so I of course had to "celebrate". I couldnt carry a towel around all day, because of work, but I had to do something. So what did I do? I went swimming!
Was it cold? Well... if I say no it'll just seem like the water was warm so taking a bath was no problem. If I say yes I'll seem like a sissy... It was ok!

And I got this :D I've wanted to read it for a long time and finally I found someone to borrow it from. I actually want to read it so much it'll jump right past the 20 + other books in my "have-to-read"-pile.

I went to swim yesterday too, it was colder then, and the sun wasn't up, so it was cold above water too... But I survived!

Dress me up like: Betty Francis!

I thought I'd make some posts about how to dress like some of the characters from mad men, my absolute favorite tv-show. I'll probably post about one every day, or maybe every second if I have a lot to do. First out is Betty Francis, or Draper if you want.

Betty is an upper middle class mom, and thats what she dresses like. She is always impeccable, and close to flawless. No matter if she is going to the store, having a party or just doing laundry(not that she ever does that herself) she always looks good, with her hair and makeup done and a perfectly put together outfit. Even though Betty wears a lot of different outfits there are a few key-pieces if you want her look.

Another thing you should have to get the Betty look, is a bullet bra. They might seem funny, but they’ll give that sculptured chest shape. ‘Cause you can’t just put on a full skirted dress and call it a Betty ;)

And last but not least, wear it with simple makeup and maybe a red lipstick. The hair should be polished and always look like you just fixed it.

Grey is such a lively color!

 Today I deside to go orienteering, even if it was cold and rainy. I only found two of the orange things, because the rest were so far away, but two are better than none, right? When I had found them I desided to go dip my feet in a lake nearby just to get some more time in the forest. It was kinda cold, but not really too bad, next time its nice weather i'll probably go swim there.

I actually found a dead bug in my shoes when I got home.

I love bows, I love polkadots and i deffinitely love this cute bow from ruche

Socks often seem to ruin my outfits, these from ruche never will.

As much as we all like to pretend summer never really comes to our cold country,  these boots from ruche will make every cold, grey day a little brighter

I dont think these need any explanaition, they're just really cute. From ruche of course.

Ive never understood why so many umbrellas are black and boring, when they can be pink and cute like this one from Miss selfridge

I like my hair, but sometimes I just want to cut it all of and dye it blue, maybe if I had this cute headband from Miss selfridge there would be fewer days like that...

I don't know if its because im a ballet dancer or not, but I just love lace-up shoes, and the pattern on these from Miss selfridge just makes me really happy!

Greenwaves

I'm not quite sure what greenwaves actually are(if they are anything at all), but when I look out now thats what I think about. Its 7 30 am and for some strange reason I'm actually awake. The morning sun is shining, the birds are singing, and the trees and gras looks so much greener than it looked last night. From where I'm sitting I can also see a whole bunch of lilac trees and I can only imagine how wonderfull it would smell if i was sitting under them. It's all very beautiful, and I almost feel like putting on the song greenwaves by secret garden and run around singing, but i wont do that, 'cause it's still way too early for that much activity.

I wish I had a nice picture of my garden to post, but I dont, so this one from wikipedia will have to do. I love lilacs

First post for my new blog... Is this where I'm supposed to write all about myself and why I made this blog?

Well, who am I? I'm a pretty ordinary 15 year old girl from somewhere up north. Maybe not completely ordinary since I write in english even though I speak a completely different language, but I like english, it often seems to make more sence to me than many other languages do.

Why did I make this blog? Because I can, and because my computer desktop is getting too full of quotes and links, so I need someone to share them all with.

Why did I chose that silly name for my blog? Because all off the good names were taken, and my blog will be about my life in a house in Storgata.

I should probably also write what this blog will be about, but I really don't know. My life I guess, and most of the things in it, which is clothes, guys, chatting and dancing mostly.
